What a palava!

No, it's not, its Hue and Cry (see what I did there?) and its a New Orleans/ Scottish blues/ funk hybrid.

    There's another hybrid Scottish band I like called Salsa Celtica. You wouldn't think it would work, but it's kind of a fun mix.

  4. It can be spelt "palaver" and means what a fuss, what a bother, what a hue and cry etc.

    Moya B is Irish methinks. DOn't know her work. I should check it out.

    Great sound there. I could get right into toe tapping with it. Probably couldn't concentrate on writing with it in the background, though.
